Our brief

Zero plastic

Our rule: not a single plastic part. Only wood, glass and plant fibres.

No chemical coating

No varnish, no lacquer, no chemical treatment. A natural finish, cared for with food-grade oil.

Moroccan craft

Our goal: have every piece made by hand in Morocco, with artisans and cooperatives.

Our trees

Before it was your spoon, it was a tree.

Olive trees on the left. Walnut trees on the right.

Olive and walnut, at the heart of every piece.

Our collection is built around two trees with very different characters. No plastic, no varnish: just wood, shaped by hand, that keeps the nuances of the tree.

The olive tree · Olea europaea

Patience, turned into wood.

A dense wood with a wavy grain that catches the light. Each piece keeps the nuances of its tree: no two are exactly alike.

The walnut tree · Juglans regia

The warmth of a noble wood.

A fine grain and warm tones, from golden to deep brown. A wood that is pleasant to work with, valued for boards and kitchen objects.

From tree to home

The path we are building, from wood to your everyday life.

The tree

Olive and walnut, chosen for the density and grain of their wood.

The workshop

Pieces shaped by hand in Morocco, with artisans and cooperatives.

The piece

No plastic, no varnish. A little food-grade oil is all it needs.

Your home

An object that ages well, can be repaired and lasts, instead of being thrown away.

One tree. Two hands. A plastic-free home.

Our project

Simple materials, designed in Morocco.

Naqaae comes from the Arabic نقاء, meaning purity. It began with one idea: replace the plastic and chemicals of daily life with natural materials that last, one object at a time.

The project is just starting. We are preparing a first collection in olive and walnut wood, to be made in Morocco with artisans and cooperatives. We choose materials you can touch, care for and repair.

Materials we favour

Are you an artisan or a cooperative?

Do you work with olive or walnut wood, glass, alfa, loofah or cotton? We are looking for partners in Morocco to make the first collection. Get in touch.
